Registration is now open for summer courses and camps on the RISD campus in Providence and at Tillinghast Farm in Barrington, RI. RISD’s Young Artist Program offers full-day camps and half-day courses in 2D, 3D, and digital art and design for children and teens ages 6-17.

Ages 6-8, 9-12 and 13-17
Each half-day course provides a different imaginative environment in which kids and teens expand their creative minds and build technical skills. Students experience RISD’s unique facilities, and are taught by outstanding educators.

Kids in full-day camps find inspiration in almost every corner of campus, whether painting outdoors or getting their hands dirty in the studios. Students experience the wonders of taxidermy and 3D microscopes at the Nature Lab, the astonishing artwork at the RISD Museum, the collection of pop-up, art and illustration books at the Library, and more!
Camps at the RISD Farm
Ages 6-12
Full-day camps at Tillinghast Farm in Barrington merge the creativity of an art workshop with the amusement of summer camp. Young artists explore a range of art topics and techniques and find creative inspiration with visits to the beach, the woods and the rolling green hills.
