“My family relocated from Pittsburgh, PA to Barrington, RI and, at that time, RISD Continuing Education was offering their programs at Tillinghast Farm, including a course for adult learners called Children’s Book Illustration. I’ve always had an interest in children’s literature/children’s book illustration and after looking into RISD CE I saw that they had a Children’s Book Illustration certificate program—I realized it was the opportunity I’d been waiting for.
