“Being in an online classroom environment allows me to be more engaged with the activities of my fellow artists and even gallery shows that are taking place virtually, much more so than I used to before COVID. The obstacles of attending events or classes (transit, availability, etc.) don’t exist in an online environment; as long as you’re present and prepared to participate you can access much more now.
In my opinion, RISD is the best school for art and design; it is an honor to be a student in their Continuing Education program. The diversity in experiences, support of instructors, and the incredibly skilled people that I meet virtually every class are so inspiring to me. I’m learning something new every day and practicing my art all of the time.
