Adult In-Person Courses
This fall, we’re expanding our in-person offerings with more than 30 courses taught by experienced artists and designers. Classes are available in Providence, Barrington (Tillinghast Place), and the Westerly Education Center, making it easier than ever to learn close to home.

Drawing from the Nature Lab: Animals and Visual Narratives – starts 9/16/26
Children’s Book: Sequential Art – starts 11/2/26
Intermediate to Advanced Screen Printing – starts 11/3/26

Learn from anywhere with flexible online courses designed for personal enrichment or professional growth. Many online classes can also be applied toward a Continuing Education certificate program, allowing you to build new skills over time.

Courses for Teens
Whether graphic design, drawing, or fashion design, the teen in your life can learn, create, and grow with RISD Continuing Education. Our online courses for teens can be taken from anywhere, and include personalized guidance from outstanding artists, designers and educators. All of our teen courses are taught by outstanding educators, artists and designers no matter if you’re creating with us in person at RISD or online. Courses start October 10.
