A Return to In-Person Courses in Westerly – Fall Term Starts Sept 21.
RISD Continuing Education is excited to announce the return of in-person and hybrid classes at the Westerly Education Center this fall.
We will be offering 6 hybrid courses (in-person/online) and 8 in-person courses. Courses will take place in Westerly, RI – an easy commute for students in southern Rhode Island and eastern Connecticut. Keeping the health, safety and well-being of our community as our top priority, RISD CE and the WEC are following the most recent guidelines from both the RI Department of Health and the CDC. Please read and review WEC’s COVID-19 health and safety policy.
Hybrid (in-person/online) Courses
RISD CE hybrid courses are part of a low-residency, blended learning program at the Westerly Education Center. They will be a mix of in-person meetings and online delivery through CE Link. 12-session classes will meet in-person six times, on alternate weeks, and the other sessions will be conducted online. 6-session classes will meet in-person three times, on the first, third and last weeks of the course, and the other sessions will be conducted online. Some classes, at the discretion of the instructor and students’ availability, may meet more often in person as needed.
