In this course, you’ll be presented with three texts as prompts for assignments to be developed from sketches to finished illustrations. We’ll also have an additional lesson on book covers.
The Book Dummy

Create a dummy – a mock-up of a book – for a story (your own or one provided by the instructor). You’ll make decisions about page design and text integration, pace and sequence, character and setting, color palette and style.
