RISD CE Launches Winter Term With 100% Online Certificates
Rhode Island School of Design Continuing Education announces over 60 online courses for adults and teens this winter, as well as eight certificate programs now being offered 100% online.
Any RISD CE online course can be taken for personal or professional enrichment, and many can also be taken as part of an Online Certificate Program. Designed for students who are looking to accelerate their creative lives and work, subjects range from interior design, product development and graphic design to painting, photography and animation
“Moving forward we will be offering our adult certificate programs 100% online,” says Mariah Doren, director of program planning and development. “We are excited about the new opportunities and benefits online instruction offers; we found people really appreciate the flexibility it affords and we have been able to expand our audience to include students from all around the world.”
Register today, as many classes filled quickly this fall. To give you enough time to plan and gather supplies, the last day to register for our first session is Wednesday, January 6 at 5 pm EDT. Adult Online Courses (ages 18+)
RISD CE Online offers accessible, flexible and immersive learning experiences that you can access anywhere. Join us online to stay on track with a certificate program, explore a new subject, or take your very first course in art and design. Courses are designed especially for people with busy schedules and active lives, and are taught by professional artists, designers and makers. We’re open admission—we welcome everyone! Courses run from Jan 11–Feb 23, 2021.
Teen Online Courses (ages 13–17)
From animation and moviemaking to fashion design and art school prep, some attend RISD CE Online Teen Courses for fun and enrichment, while others have a more academic goal in mind. These online courses provide a strong grounding in the visual arts and encourages creative and personal growth through self-expression. Classes run from Jan 11–Feb 23, 2021.
