“I first heard about RISD from an alum, a very well-known architect, Bernard Khoury, whose work has inspired me over the years. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity of spending a summer learning at RISD! My journey to RISD began the moment I submitted my application to RISD Pre-College.
The best part of RISD is that there is a place for everyone. The RISD Pre-College program allowed me to build friendships that will last a lifetime, build connections with professors that I still maintain, and get to know the community as a whole. What surprised me the most was the diverse culture that RISD nurtured and the integration of the campus life with the greater city of Providence, Rhode Island. The energy everyone had, the helpful hands, the late nights working together, and the field trips we went on all gave me a glimpse of what life at RISD would be like.”
