“I wanted to expand on my knowledge of graphic design and knew it would be a one-of-a-kind experience. My desire to grow as a designer grew even stronger with RISD CE. I was surprised by my experience in their certificate program and how hands-on it was; I learned a lot about the making process and how to push beyond the conventional.
Each instructor was extremely knowledgeable and each impacted me in their own way. Dina Vincent’s and Anya Lownie’s passion for design and their dedication to the success of their students had a huge impact.
My personal identity project was particularly challenging, but also the most rewarding. It can be really difficult designing a personal identity, but I learned a lot about myself as a designer as well as the importance of trusting in the design process.”
