Do you like to draw? Are you a storyteller, or maybe even an inventor and builder of things? Discover how creative problem-solving, collaboration and expression are at the heart of art and design. All of which can prepare you for your future goals—whether or not you’re considering a career in art and design.
When you join teen online classes at Rhode Island School of Design, outstanding artists, designers and educators will lead you toward inspiring career paths and creative problem-solving skills. You will meet online weekly (via Zoom) where you will connect with other teen makers.

Start by choosing from subject areas that interest you the most. Our starting courses are designed for students new to a subject, curious about art and design, or looking to refresh their skills. Each week, you will explore fundamental concepts while connecting cutting-edge practices to real-world applications.

Visualize your learning as you join practiced artists and trained educators prepared to lead thoughtful inquiry during focused investigations. During class, you will receive creative prompts that encourage thoughtful problem-solving through making.
